lyrics
Reveal yourself and bare your teeth
In that ruptured fashion
The bitter taste of blood and bleach..my sweet abandon..
This is the coldest hell I've ever seen
Just like third degree burns in a glacial sea
So I set ablaze the city she dreamed of escaping to
Now it seems our fevers have all spiked into horns
Our concussions sank into black holes
I've got no use for wings, for I already will be found soaring a chair's length from the ground
Now I can't tell the scabs from the scales
In that ruptured fashion
Strung up like meat for them to see...my sweet abandon
So I set ablaze the city she dreamed of escaping to...
Now it seems our fevers have all spiked into horns
Our concussions sank into black holes
I've got no use for wings, for I already will be found
Soaring a chair's length from the ground
Reveal yourself and bare your teeth.

How did I miss this?! This is the best stoner rock I've heard all year! It's not often that I'll buy an album after just listening to the first two minutes of the opening track. I can't pick a favourite track they're all so damn good! The riff is strong with this one, ladies and gentlemen. Stoner Vibrations

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
